No, I feel face book and other virtual community take away from soical interaction. People can misleading you. I personal like to meet people because, it allows me be obsever thier body language and facial expreesion giveing me cues to ones personaity. It is hard to read someone on face book. Actions speak louder then words. cconnor!!!!

  2. I do not feel that facebook is a replacement for true friendship. Friends are people you can spend time with and enjoy life with. Facebook is great to get back in touch with people you haven't seen for years, but people on facebook can say anything. You need to know the person to interupret how they really mean what they are saying to you. Actions speak louder than words.

while I don't feel that facebook is a replacement for human interaction. I believe it is a form of communication that is very benifical to people. In the years past one would have a pen pal today we have facebook. This is one of many ways that we as people have changed in this age of technology. Now we can communicate reguardless of our schedules or location. RDowdy77

  4. I think we're greatly underestimating the importance Facebook has for people, and the significance it has for modes of communication in our society.

It indeed brings a level of attachment that perhaps is filling a void found in our relationships.

I think they privide a good suport group in that they are always their, if I move after graduating then I'll have to make more freinds. But if I am busy with work the only freind I would have is my facebook frinds and most of them would be realy suportive. sycolowz
